This is a fable of a shepherd, who left everything for his dream. His fire of desire was so strong that even the universal entity, that created everything was forced to bow down to his request.
Witnesses the craziest roller coaster ride, full of ups and downs. At some point, you will be at the top of the world, having everything and the next moment on your feet.The author basically depicts life’s ups and downs very cleverly in a story format. Your fear of failure, pressure from loved ones etc.

The alchemist guides you completely from realising you destiny, till living it. Through various steps in-between, like overcoming fear of failure, leaving everything behind, finding the best version of yourself and finally living it.
Plot
The story revolves around the life of a shepherd, chasing his destiny of finding a treasure in the sands of Egypt, which he saw in his dream.
The shepherd always used to bury his desire of finding the treasure because of his sheep, whom he loved the most and was worried that if he leave them in order to chase his dream, then their new master may not able to understand them as good as he does and may result in harming them.
Once he met an old man, who regarded himself as the “king of salem”. The old man played an important role in igniting the fire inside the shepherd for his treasure and soon after the meeting, the shepherd took the first step of a hundred mile journey.
An excellent which ignites your passion of life, also enhances the mental strength required throughout the journey of achieving it.
However it loses the Modern style of writing which will make you bored sometimes. It’s repetitive use of some particular words and phrases will irritate you. The first time you will like it, but dare not to touch it again, you will end up cursing the author, and me for this positive review.
